Our Mission

Mission Statement: Our organization offers care and support to women and men with crisis pregnancies, including pregnancy tests, volunteer counseling and education in a Christ-centered way.

The Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center is a non-profit organization that offers care and support to women and men faced with unplanned pregnancies. We use material published by Heartbeat International called “Planting the Seed: The Love Approach” in our counseling and education, and strive to ensure that all we say and do is based on Christian principles.

All of our staff and volunteers at the center receive proper training to uphold the standards of our “Commitment of Care”.

Women who come to the Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center may receive a free, confidential, pregnancy test. They are treated with kindness and compassion, no matter who they are. All client information is confidential and only disclosed as required by law and when necessary to protect the client or others against harm.

We offer clients accurate information about pregnancy, fetal development, lifestyle issues, and related concerns. We do not offer, recommend, or refer for abortions, but we are committed to providing accurate information about procedures and risks. Clients receive honest and open answers. All clients are treated with love and compassion, without being judged or condemned.

In a caring way, we listen and learn about their situation. Emphasizing their value and acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses, we provide the necessary support services to enable carrying the baby to full-term.
